People's Trust Jaipur launched "Sahara Helpline," a new initiative dedicated to providing #postcrash counselling and support to #roadaccident #victims and their families.
The helpline number is +91-9429690560. "Sahara Helpline" launched on the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, on 22nd April 2023. Akshaya Tritiya is a Hindu festival that marks the beginning of the new year and is considered an auspicious day for new beginnings and investments.
By launching "Sahara Helpline" on Akshaya Tritiya, People's Trust aims to create a positive impact in the lives of road accident victims and their families.
The helpline will offer counseling support and guidance to those affected by road accidents, including emotional counselling, legal advice, and referrals to medical services.
Meet the Lead Counsellor Ms. Pooja Bajaj
Ms. Pooja Bajaj is a road crash survivor, a Certified Road Safety Trainer & a Consultant. She is a Socio-Civic Change maker in the Road Safety domain, and a TEDx Speaker. She is an avid Solo motorcyclist who has covered 25 states across India. But what sets her apart that she is unstoppable even with more than 85% of her right shoulder covered with multiple titanium plates, screws & bolts. A fearless soul bouncing back from life threatening accident at 14,000 ft to pursue her passion in just 26 days.
She works as a peer counsellor to help accident victims & family members to deal with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder in hospitals & Rehabilitation centers. She is the Director, PTSD and a Lead Counselor of SAHARA HELPLINE, Peoples Trust Jaipur, India.
